Teen Vouge Bedroom Makeover

This is an old Teen Vogue room makeover I came across when I was searching for a newer one they had done. As an adult I'm still looking for ways to make my space cute and girlie without being obnoxious. Over the top has never been part of my nature, I wish I could have things minimal but sometimes (okay, most of the time) that's not realistic. This bedroom is a happy medium.
I love the chic gray walls, you can make them masculine or feminine based on the rest of your decor. This is seems like the type of bedroom a man would love to see the first time he sets foot in your place, sweet but not saccharine. Take a look at that amazing clear lamp and cool wall decor!

As a big lover of purple (and you'd definitely know that if you read Drug of Choice Beauty) I'm a huge fan of this dresser. It was actually a baby changing station with the top removed. How innovative. I love stuff like that and what are the chances anyone has seen it in someone else's bedroom? The cool shelf is interesting and makes a great conversation starter.

This one's a picture of the cute vignettes I always wish I could have on my nightstand. Unfortunately, I'm a clutter bug(more on that later) and I need my book, night cream and a water bottle (along with other various crap) right next to me at night. This is great for a vanity top, if only mine were in my bedroom.

The cute blue nightstand is something similar to what I have in my living room except in purple. It's chic and fun and adds an element of playfulness to the whole room. I'm pretty sure this is one of those dorm-style pieces you're probably seeing everywhere this time of year so scoop them up before they're gone. I'm loving this lamp as well but I'm not sure how I'd feel about having my headboard in the middle of the room.

The last image is just to show what a difference a duvet change can make. This room is considerably more fun, less grown up with this fun tiedye coverlet. Precious!
